I have days were I feel so distracted that I literally have to take it minute by minute. Today I set an alarm for an hour to do ONE task. Then another hour for another task. I see small progress. My mind never stops and one thing leads to another and next thing you know, I’ve spent half day being scattered brain.
Do you ever have days like that? How do you brace yourself and focus on the task at hand? I like making list of what I have to do (for the day). I like short term list, that way it’s not too long and I can get a grip of what’s happenning for the day.
My head was already filled wedding planning ideas while making breakfast. Berries and Cream Oatbran to start off the day.
Then an exhilirating and tiring workout after breakfast. I take Pure Barre classes, it’s similar to Bar Method and Physique 57. It’s really fun but during class when we are doing thigh exercises, it BURNS. Literally my thighs shake and it doesn’t stop shaking even after I’m done with the set. Today’s class was high intensity and my Polar heart rate monitor agreed. The workout varies with instructors and the music. Some instructors have a way of teaching you where you push yourself extra hard than any other days. I think it’s their energy.
On to wedding planning talk. Being recently engaged, I have been overwhelmed with wedding ideas. A few weeks ago, we decided to check out a few wedding venues. I’ve done my research first online and I just wanted to check out the places to get a feel for them.
The one place we checked out was near the area where we got engaged in Palos Verdes. There was a wedding that day so we couldn’t go inside 😦 But the place was beautiful and reflects what we like as a couple. We love nature, greenery and the ocean. This venue has all of the above.
Wedding in progress, we had to keep our distance.
Love the greenery. I'll felt right at home.
I like this shot
Me taking a lot of pictures. Make sure I remember every detail.
We are just in brainstorming stages of the planning so a lot of things have not been decided. So exciting!
Hope you’re having a good weekend!

Obviously Cincinnati is behind the times because I have never heard of those classes!

Thank you so much for offering your help. I will definitely take you up on that. I will send you an email once the fiance and I have narrowed down our choices. We are still debating whether we are doing local or destination wedding.
I look forward to it! 🙂
Congrats on your engagement!
Thank you very much 🙂
Oh weddings are so fun, my 6 year anniversary is this month. That location is beautiful – it looks like the wedding location from the OC if you watched that show. 🙂 Thanks for stoping by my blog! Glad to find another great inspirational blogger!
