The Little Things

It’s so easy to get caught up in our every day routine and stress brought on by our job, school, family and etc. We often take a lot of things for granted. We should realize that a lot of the simple things in life are the ones that brings us the most joy.

Lately when I find myself complaining about school work, wedding planning, job situation and etc, I make a conscious effort  to stop and realize that I have a lot of things to be grateful for.

I recently discovered Julie’s blog Savvy Eat. I love her Little Things series, where she honors details that makes her happy. She encourages everyone to stop and appreciate the little things. She even has The Little Things: Reader Submissions page.

I appreciate the little things like spending time with my 3 year old niece Jazzy. I love spending time with her because when I am with her all my stress seems to go away and she reminds me to be carefree and enjoy the little things in life.

Kids are worry free and just live in the moment. They don’t worry about the past or the future, they live in the present.

In her smile, her cute cheeks and adorable dimple, she teaches me how life should be.

You are so right! My grandmother has been in the hospital lately fighting for her life I received RIF letters from the School District although I’m being transferred and I didn’t lose my job I’m so grateful life is wonderful.

I may lose a family member, a job, a friend but there will be a day that I will see them again and I have one thing that God has blessed us with it’s Memories.

I can still reflect on good times even when you might feel sad you know it’s for a moment.

Thank you for this I certainly am grateful for the little things in life.

    😛
