Today’s post is The One where I talk about the random things that happened to me this week. I have scattered brain today because I am lacking sleep (big time) from a fun outing last night that involved horror nights, vampires and zombies. It was really fun, so it was worth it…I will post recap soon.
I love the TV show “Friends”. I own all 10 seasons on DVDs, books, games, trivia, the show finale DVD and etc.
The title of each episode of Friends starts with “The One…”. My favorite episodes were the Thanksgiving shows where they had special guests. I especially love the episode called “The One with the Thanksgiving Flashbacks” aka The One with all the Thanksgivings.
I like the titles because you can pretty much talk about anything and start with “The One”.
This is what I’ve been up to this week.
The One with the Save The Date picture where I realized that I absolutely, positively made the right decision to do a destination wedding.
The One where I was really mushy and served my Pumpkin Turkey Chili with love.
The One where I am addicted to oatmeal bars. I am eating my second batch this week 🙂
The One night where my childhood nightmare came true and I came face to face with Chucky 😦
The One where I really missed Seattle. I am seriously going thru travel withdrawal right now.
I ♥ Seattle
Glad you had a good time last night 🙂 Halloween type events are always worth it. That chili looks fantastic. ❤ the ❤ on top! I'm not sure what I'd title this week- after our sad early week trip and just fabulous end to the week? I guess I'd say the one where we learned to appreciate each day ❤
Erica, I know your week has been filled with lots of emotions. Glad there are some silver lining for you 🙂
The One where I laughed and cried. I ran and I stretched. I danced when nobody was looking.
The One where I officially said goodbye to summer by closing our swim pool for the season…
❤
Have a fabulous weekend!
I’m a huge friends fan as well, and have seen every episode many times.
The one that flew by! My week was super hectic and busy, so it flashed by in what seemed like a day!
Ahh, Chuckie is so freaky! I watched the movies when I was a kid, but he still freaks me out now! lol
The One where I put my foot down and decided that I’m too busy… and that it’s time to slow down a bit! 🙂
Loving the photos of you in Seattle….. looks fun 🙂 And also love your addition of coconut to your turkey chili. Are you a nut butter fan? Have you tried peanut butter (or you can sub another nut butter) chili? I’m thinking of trying “coconut chili”, I bet it would be amazing!
I am indeed a nut butter fan :), especially coconut butter. I need to learn to make my own though. I actually didn’t use coconut on the turkey chili, but that sounds like an interesting combo. That was shredded cheese on top, but it does look like shredded coconut doesn’t it?
I usually cook with coconut oil and I used coconut butter when I make too.
The one day I wish I had family here so I can take a break from the kiddos! I never knew Seattle was so beautiful!
I absolutely love love love Friends too! I had a pretty hectic week too so if I had to recap it, it would have to be The One Where I Was Severely Lacking In Sleep That I Feel Asleep During a Meeting :p
I hope they make Friends movie soon. Awww, I hope you got some rest
this weekend.
The One that lasted forever! also the one where I woke up crabby every day..weird!
Awww Shana, hope this week is better for you friend. The weather here in SoCal is bringing a lot of people’s mood down 😦
Btw, I’ll be in Napa for a day next week, can u recommend a must go winery? I only got a day.
I heart your BOOTS!! 😀
I love Friends too, it’s just a fun serie and I never get bored of it.
The one during which I may or may not have eaten a million sweet things, or at least felt like it!
Tell me about it, me too.Its the beginning season of sweet treats.
