I’m walking on sunshine…..
Today, I was reminded how great it is to live in Southern California. It was clear, sunny and just right 🙂 I left my house with a great smile and say ahhhhh, sunshine.
I ran errands during lunch, it was an excuse to soak up the sun while I can. The fall weather of San Francisco will great me in the next few days.
I have bangs again. I let it grow out in the summer and brought it back for Fall. I went to see my hair stylist at her new salon. I’m digging the new salon and the surroundings, very green, modern and hip.
The salon is called The Retreat. Me and my stylist are already planning the calendar leading up to the wedding and how we want to style my hair. I know it’s still 7 months away but I like to plan ahead.
Each parking spot on the lot had a message. I didn’t notice them until after I parked. My parking spot had a sign that said
To the left and right parking spot, it said
Yes, yes and yes! Got it!
Afterwards, I beeline to one of my favorite market in the area at Mother’s Market. It’s similar to Wholefoods, but smaller and less pricey.
For lunch I had one of the best burgers I’ve eaten in awhile.
Ma’s Super Burger
I chose lemon quinoa for my side and they served a very generous portion.
I also added Vegan cheese. Love the sunflower sprouts, it was my first time eating it.
It is healthy, but to me, it sure didn’t taste like it.
The tempeh patty had a great texture and very moist.
What a fun day. I’m off to pack for my trip and catch up on beauty sleep.

A totally great day. Getting your hair done is the best. I want to see the bangs!! The little notes on the parking lot are cute. And that burger looks and sounds delicious. The weather has just started to creep a little colder in South Carolina…its totally freaking me out
That store looks cute! I love the words in the parking spaces. That burger looks really good! You are lucky that it is in the 80’s where you are. I’m in PA and this morning I had to scrape frost off my windshield. It’s in the 30’s here. Brrr 🙂

The day yesterday was absolutely beautiful and this whole week from what I hear is going to be the same way. Southern California has it’s downs but the weather in Cali is the best.

Haha, those parking spots are so much fun! I think in Finland we should have parking spots were it read “smile a bit more” 😀 we are too serious people and when it’s cold and dark like this there are not many smiles around the streets.

Hi Anne, I think there was a spot that said “Smile Often” on it. I’ve never been to Finland and I would imagine that if it’s dark and cold, that people’s moods are affected as well. When it rains here, everyone is moody too.
Thanks 🙂 I cut my bangs where it’s fringe and I can style to go to the side, I didn’t cut it blunt style like yours. I did it blunt and thick style last year and even though I loved styling it, it was just a lot of maintenance and trimming. My hair grows quickly.
