We had plenty of rain this past weekend so I took advantage of us being forced indoors to do some baking. I also had plenty of babysitters since my mom and brothers stayed over, so I went thru my list of recipes to make and picked one that looked good at the moment. I […]
We had a great summer filled with adventures and travel…we took a Caribbean cruise in June and spent a week in Hawaii in September. I find it hard to find time to write on the blog during the summer season but I’m back now that Fall season is here. I’ll dive right in and start […]
Pomegranates have invaded my life and I’m loving it. When you are fortunate enough to be showered with pomegranates, then you shall share the wealth and share with thy neighbors. These pomegranates have been and will be shared with friends and family. I’m going to be baking a lot this holiday season and sending my […]
Here’s how I organize my outfits for this capsule: 1.) Listing all the possible mix & match outfits on paper 2.) Using stylebook to visually create the outfits 3.) Below – put the outfits and organize in the calendar. I wanted to make sure I wear all my pieces and avoid repeats on a weekly […]
Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld (4/5 stars) This is a re-telling of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and has been updated for the modern times, including a reality TV show mixed in. I think I would have still enjoyed the story even if it wasn’t an adaptation. This classic gets adapted often, but this is the […]
My little man turned 2 in March. Last year we threw a huge party, so to change the pace, we kept it simple this year. We invited immediate family over for a late morning brunch and cake. At 24 months, H knows that the week was a special week of celebration for him, balloons and […]
Cu-cu-curry House we went. Curry House is a Japanese-style Curry and Spaghetti Restaurant. They are known for their great tasting curries and huge serving entrees. I’ve never seen so many variety of curries. You can choose between beef, vegetable, chicken and seafood curries. We haven’t been to this restaurant for a long time (more than […]
A few weeks ago, I cleaned out a ton of boxes in the garage. I’m trying to sort everything out, clean house and make a dent in organizing all the stuff I’ve kept all these years. I kept my bib from my first half marathon race in Las Vegas. Ever since I found it, I […]
California is gorgeous! I can’t wait to visit there someday.
April, there is so much to do here. You will definitely enjoy yourself. Hope you can come travel and visit my home state.

Glad you’re having fun! The jumping picture is so cute
so much fun! i can’t wait to see more pics. loving these! 🙂
Holy bejesus you can jump HIGH! Love that pic!
Keep up the good times 🙂
When I read your comment and saw “Holy bejesus” on my phone, last Friday, you made me laugh out loud.
I played varsity volleyball throughout high school, that’s where I got the skills to jump high 🙂
I’m so in love with your clothes, you seem to have my kind of style.. or actually a style I wish I had 😀
Anne, I am a bargain shopper. That yellow top was $3 at a sample sale and the boots are from Ross or Marshall’s. You’ve got style girl, just need to rock it. Part of the reason I like traveling is to wear different style of seasonal clothes 🙂
wow, awesome pictures! the vineyard looks amazing!
Sunny, thanks. The fall colors on the winery is so beautiful. Never been to Napa when the wineries are yellow and orange colors.
Napa is so beautiful! I have only been there once, but is that first picture of the cooking school? I think I remember eating lunch there…
Gorgeous photo of you on the sidebar. You are a knockout, especially in pink!
Thank you so much Ameena. The first picture of the building that looks like a chateau is Domaine Carneros Winery, I believe they are famous for their champagne. Oh, I’m intrigue about this cooking school you speak of? What’s the name of it? There are really cheap flights from Long Beach to San Francisco this season (as low as $19) that I might be making another trip soon.
Wow it is so Beautiful over there, I just have to go that is how I picture it and more. 🙂
Hey you are funny you jumped pretty high. Love your personality I am so shy it’s only with a few that I can be silly and let my hair down. I need to loosen up it’s so much fun being like that though.
Glad to see you are enjoying yourself.
😛
Annette, yes it was beautiful. We lucked out because the weather was perfect. I don’t remember wearing short sleeves in San Francisco during any of my trips.
I played volleyball throughout high school and that’s where I learned to jump really high because I was a hitter and also a blocker. Yes, I don’t mind being silly because it’s just all fun and games. I do get a little shy when I have to be in front of a lot of people, but at the wineries, it wasn’t too crowded so it was fine.
YAY! I see Evie!
