I had a great weekend in San Francisco attending the Foodbuzz Blogger Festival. Each day has been filled with fun packed activities. From the moment I woke up until I came home late to my hotel room, it was food, food and more food.
I will do a more detailed recap of the festival throughout the week. Just wanted to share some pictures from this weekend.
I am so grateful to have the opportunity to attend the Foodbuzz event. I’ve had the greatest time meeting new friends and bloggers alike.
Lots of wine, food and endless desserts.
Lots of goofiness and fun during the day. I don’t take myself too seriously so I’m really up for anything that’s fun.
I was also really happy that I was able to share this experience with my my local non-blogger friends from San Francisco. They bought tickets to the 4 hour food tasting on Saturday. All of them loved it and can’t wait to go again next year.
I had the pleasure of meeting the ladies behind the blogs I read and also meet new blogger friends.
I also had the chance to do pretend cooking from my future dream kitchen 🙂
I’m back where I started this fun adventure. I’m at the airport. My flight to Orange County is delayed for 2 hours because of rain and bad weather in San Francisco.
The fiance will pick me up from the airport. I miss him so much and can’t wait to see him. We are heading straight to a friends wedding from the airport.
Hope you all had a great weekend 🙂
oh my gosh! Looks like TOO much fun. Cupcakes definitely seem to be the dessert of the weekend. Great pics of you and the other bloggers. Have a safe trip home
Have fun at the wedding tonight, Lea! It was awesome meeting you. We need to do a blog meet-up in the LA area soon.
That looks like some really good food! And definitely a fun time!! 🙂
I love your pictures and the food looks delicious! I will sell my soul for that electrolux kitchen!
Lin, all we had to do was sign up for their newsletter and we were entered to win the Electrolux appliances. Unfortunately, I didn’t win it or I would be home doing a baking marathon today.
Hi Lea, so glad to have been able to meet you in person! Hope you have arrived home safe! Everyone is so much better in person!
-Gina-
Hi Gina, I’m glad we met and I got a chance to taste your tasty desserts. I wish I had grabbed more because I took a bite and put it down on my plate so I can take pictures and when I came back to my table, my plate was taken away.
Thanks again for bringing over my shirt. I’m planning to wear it on my race this month.
Where is Evie???? She’s so sad. Sigh. And she did not get a FLIPBOOK. =(
But for me: FANTABULOUS!!!!
Lizelle, I didn’t pay attention to the group pictures and just posted them. She will be on the full recap. The flipbook was fun, it’s funny flipping thru it again. I wish they had given us more so everyone can have one.
Thanks for joining me on Saturday. You got a glimpse of bloggers in action.
youre adorable! i love the recap 🙂
That looks like such a fun time! The food looked amazing! I would love to cook in that Electrolux kitchen too! I love the look of stainless steel appliances 🙂
Aw, looks like so much fun! Wish I could have been there. I must go next year. The food looks great and you met so many blog-lebrities!
Katherine, you should definitely try to go next year. It was cool and we had our own little community of L.A. bloggers. I was happy to see familiar faces there.
Yeah, I was ballsy and just introduced myself to everyone, lol! Most were really nice.
You lucky girl! I wish I could have joined you, but silly work got in the way. Argh!
Shanna, it was so fun. Try to come next year yeah? The festival is so close to you, might as well.
San Fran looks like it was so much fun! Gorgeous pictures and those cupcakes look like they are to die for!
It was a great trip. I’m not the one to say no to cupcakes but after several tastings, I had my limit and had to say no to a few flavors. It’s funny because after I walked back to my hotel, I was hungry again and wished I had those cupcakes in my purse.
It was awesome to meet you! And to meet someone else who knows what Turron is! An LA blogger meetup NEEDS to be in the future!
Hi Mimi, glad we met too. After we talked about Turon, you had me craving for one. I”ll need to make some soon.
Lea! So glad to meet you. 🙂 Glad to hear you had a fantastic time up here in NorCal.
Hi Suki, it was great meeting you. Sorry you had to wake up early to guide our early morning walk, lol! Your hometown is so beautiful, I really appreciated it more after our walk.
I’ll be sure to visit the foccacia bread place again, what’s the name of it? The one across from Mama’s place?
It was so great meeting you! I will echo Amanda, but we should try to get some sort of So Cal meet up going so we can get together more often.
Andy, it was so refreshing to meet a male blogger. I’m glad I finally met you and Amanda, you guys are such lovely couple.
Yes, I believe we are working on a big meet-up come Dec/holiday around L.A.
Love the photos! I was there too!!! Sorry I didn’t get to meet you.
Liz, I know, how come? Definitely next year right? I hope you had a fabulous time at the festival. Can’t wait to read your recap as well. I saw the picture of “El Gigante” today, whoa!!!
I’ll be in San Diego this month, do you have recommendations in restaurants? I will be with my fiance, he loves steak and I love seafood and desserts 🙂
Hey!
I can think of a few places…
Dessert: Extraordinary Desserts, Elizabethan Desserts,
Best Value:Urban Solace (American comfort), Blue Water (seafood… get the seared ahi plate), Mariscos German Taco Truck
Sushi/seafood: Sushi Ota (try to get a reservation at the bar with Robert/Atsushi… say you know Liz and Ernie… we are regs)
Special Evening: Addison (haven’t been yet but from accounts from friends… it’s a meal to remember)
Liz, thanks so much. I’ve been to Extraordinary Desserts and I’m hoping the line is not too long.
We are staying in La Jolla and only have 1 day to explore so hopefully we can get to at least one of these restaurants.
Do you like Anthony’s Grotto?
Your time at Foodbuzz looks like a lot of fun, I wish I could have been there too! hope you had a lovely wedding too and got back home safely 🙂
It was such a fun event. I’m sorry Anne you are so far away 😦 . I think it would be really cool to get to hangout with you.
That’s so sweet of your friends to come to the tasting pavilion!
Leng, it was really fun to have them there. I was so happy to share the tasting with them and have friends with me who were as excited as me eating all the good food.
They paid $30 for 4 hour tasting and they said it was worth more than that. The wine and beer alone made up for the amount they paid.
It was SO great to meet you!! I am crashing your LA meetup! 🙂
Jackie, same here. You can crash our LA meetup, please do. The more the merrier 🙂
