I’ve eaten a lot of traditional and also new (to me) foods.

I have enjoyed eating and spending time with my family and friends the last few days. I survived the 3 meals during Thanksgiving Day.

I didn’t take a lot of pictures as I was too busy chatting and eating and learning about new recipes. I’ve eaten a lot of Bobby Flay recipes this Thanksgiving season, the best being his stuffing from the Thanksgiving Throwdown with the Pioneer Woman.

Thanksgiving is special to me because I welcome the holiday break and take the time to reflect on all the things that I am thankful for. This year I ran a 10K Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day, during the run, I thought of all the things I was thankful for. It took my mind off running and being cold.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I am very thankful for your friendship and support.

  3. Your foods look really good! There wasn’t a Turkey Trot that was even close to me, but I’m not sure I would have run one anyway, b/c the windchill was like 4 or 5 degrees!

  4. Glad you had a great Thanksgiving! : ) All that produce looks neat, much of it new to me as well. I love Brussels sprout stalks, ha, they’re just fun to have.
