Today had so much potential.
We had plans to go hiking, stopped by the farmers market afterwards and maybe grill some fresh corn when we got home. Well, it’s not happening.
After being spoiled with mid 70s temperature the last few weeks, the rain surprised us today.
At least my car is getting a good car wash
Instead of showing you some pictures from the hiking trails, I’ll just amused you with beautiful (and edited) pictures of new orchids we got for the house recently.
I love pretty flowers and I love being surrounded by them. I might go a little over budget for the wedding flowers, but that’s ok…because they are worth it.
I hope the beauty of these flowers last until next weekend, I’m hosting a special party next week.

Yesterday I attended an exciting event with other bloggers.

The orchids are so pretty. We had them at our wedding and they made me so so happy.
I was so shocked to wake up to rain this morning! I guess we can’t complain since our weather has been amazing lately compared to the rest of the country. Have a great Sunday!

I love orchids. I think it’s crazy how they can grow with so little soil.

Awe that looks like so much fun, I’m certainly jealous. Sorry about the rain, I would love it it rained here…sadly all we are getting is snow booo.
This weather has definitely spoiled me too- I didn’t even check the forecast and decided to walk to the grocery store, and it rained on me!
