Flashforward Friday

Typically on Fridays, we do flashback Friday.

Well, we are going to change it up a bit here and do a “flashforward” Friday, you know, like the in the show “Lost”.

Flashforward Friday will be to our wedding day. A small glimpse of our wedding day in Puerto Vallarta, 1 month and 3 weeks from now.

My day will start early where I will be whisked away to my bridal casita. Me and my bridal party will take a boat to the wedding venue. We will enjoy the private beach, where we will lounge and relax before the wedding. We also have the option to go snorkeling and do other water activities.

Then more relaxation ensues while I get my massage in the spa. After the spa treatment, lunch will be served al fresco style. Then it’s time to do hair & make-up and get ready for the wedding ceremony.

Later in the afternoon, our guest will be shuttled in to the marina where they will board a private boat to the wedding. The pre-party will start on the boat, where drinks will be served on board.

Here’s what our wedding guests can expect to see on their boat ride.

Once the wedding guest arrives, they will have a chance to relax their feet in the sand while drinking cocktails before the ceremony.

At sunset, the wedding ceremony will begin.

Birthday Treats

I know it’s not summer weather quite yet, but my summer clothes are ready. Bring on the sunshine, I’m ready for you.

I received a special package this week from Shanna. I won her purse giveaway and received a Chinese Laundry Cross-body purse. I love the purse and I can see myself wearing this for trips and on casual weekends.

I immediately looked for an outfit that I would wear with this purse so I can take a picture with it to show you guys. (or I could have just taken a picture of the purse to make it easier, but I wanted it to be fun). I own a few purses that can be worn across my body, one of my favorite one is my dark pink one I always wear on Disney nights.

Shanna also surprised me by including homemade Oatmeal Butterscotch Chocolate Chip cookies and her favorite tea. The cookies were delicious. I think there’s even coconut flakes in them. Love.

I will be hunting down the recipe for these goodies.

I enjoyed eating the cookies while drinking the tea, wearing the outfit above. I’m the type of person that gets really excited about new things and I want to wear/taste/try everything at once 🙂 

Thank you Shanna. Because it’s my birthday month, I felt like I got my first birthday treat!

Other birthday treats came in the mail. It looks like there will be plenty of shopping and dining out this month.

Workout

I took Body Pump class this morning. Friday mornings are always very crowded so I headed to the gym 30 minutes before class to secure my spot and get a class pass.

I also had a chance to warm-up on the treadmil for 15 minutes. I did 2 cycles of HIIT and got my heart rate up.

By the time Body Pump class started, I was already a sweaty mess. I had a great workout though, it was one of those workout where you know you will be sore the next day.

My gym is releasing the new Body Pump track (77?) tomorrow. I will have to wait until Monday to try it out for myself.
