What a whirlwind of a week it has been. It was busy, busy with back to back events. It was so much fun, it went by so fast but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
In a week, I had my bridal shower, celebrated my 30th birthday, ran a 10K for She Runs L.A. and partied for my bachelorette party.
So many stories to tell, so many pictures to share!
This weekend, I was out of town to spend a weekend in San Diego with my college friends and sorority sisters for my bachelorette party.
They surprised me with a beachside weekend getaway with some rest & relaxation at a beach resort and spoiled me with a spa treatment.
What our hotel room beach house looked like before it was turned into a bachelorette party central at night.
After a day spent at the pool and frolicking at the beach, we had dinner in a private cabana. Everyone looked pretty in pink in their pink and black themed outfits.
After dinner, we headed downtown, played fun bachelorette games and danced the night away 🙂
Hopefully my friends will share their pictures soon so I can post more.
I had a great time with my friends and enjoyed partying with them one last time before the wedding. My single friends, my married friends, friends who are expecting or have babies at home…they all came out to celebrate and that meant a lot to me. Thank you so much girls.
On Sunday we went to a crepes place for breakfast.
Instead of a regular crepes, I ordered buckwheat crepes with pesto sauce. It was filled with chicken, cheese and plenty of veggies.
Normally I eat every 2-3 hours, but this dish kept hunger away for 6 hours. I didn’t eat again until after our drive back home and a long nap.
I also found this huge Nutella container. Biggest. Ever.
Unfortunately I didn’t have any room to have another serving of crepes. I would have loved to eat a sweet, Nutella filled chocolaty crepes with coconut toppings. It tasted so good in my head, but my stomach won and said it was too full.

Now I’m off to catch up and finally get to my emails/messages from the last week.
What a super exciting week you had! Really memorable. Hope you enjoyed every minute!
It was really fun, but it went by too fast.
wow! What a party. The location looks gorgeous and I love all of your outfits!!! I don’t think I’ve ever actually had a crepe, but now I want one 🙂 And Josh would have stolen that giant container of nutella! Have a good week
Crepes are fun to eat but they don’t keep me full because they are literally just really thin pancakes but can be folded and filled with whatever you want. The buckwheat crepes were hearty and kept me full for a long time. I would have taken the container too but it was empty 😦
What a fun bachelorette party! I love how everyone is coordinated in black and pink! So cute! That really is the biggest jar of nutella I have ever seen! 🙂
Hi, you’re looking fabulous! Did you lose weight? Not that you were fat ever, but you look extra tiny:)
I’m more toned these days, maybe that’s why I look smaller?…..and I usually lose a few pounds during spring/summer and gain it back during fall/winter.
love the giant nutella, and, as usual, your dresses!! so jealous!
Nutella!!!! I just made Nutella rice krispie treats! Gah! Looks like a fab party, chica. I’m so in wedding mode. My friends had my hubs & I play dress up for a wedding shoot for their photography blog. So fun! Make sure you live in the moment on the big day!!!
Nutella rice krispie treats? sounds so yummy! Did you get to wear your own wedding gown for the photoshoot or did you model a different dress.
I’m so happy that I get to wear my dress at least 3 times. The wedding day, the TTD session the day after and possibly for the At-Home-Reception that might be planned after.
That’ is so sweet love the fact that there was a theme and that you guys matched your clothing too. Too Cute!!!
You definitely had a fabulous time.
Hey this past weekend my DB/DH and I went to Madonna Inn. You have to check out the rooms they are themed so I think you would like it there to add to one of your traveling points in the near future.
I stayed at the Highway Suite as my 2nd choice. We did book the Kona Rock but by accident scheduled it on Mother’s Day so had to change it and that room wasn’t available.

Glad you made time to travel this weekend, we had gorgeous weather in SD and I’m sure it was the same up north.
I’ve heard of this place before and actually saw it on TV too. What a cool place huh? Chris and I have made coastal drive a few times and last time we did Hearst Castle/Solvang/Monterey route and would love to add this next time we do a long drive again.
Saw the suite you stayed in, those boulder/rock fireplace looks cool.
That Nutella looks as as big as you!!!
Ha ha ha, I could literally fit my head in the container.
hi Lea! so glad to have found you! so cool, I live in OC 😀 that beach on your profile looks familiar….haha. and I’m looking forward to reading about your journey and upcoming wedding! I’ve engaged for about 2.5 months, but school keeps me busy. have a beautiful day!
Ellie, thanks for stopping by. Congratulations on your recent engagement. Time will fly by so fast, I’m on my last 30 days of planning and wish I can slow things down a little bit. But I’ve remembered to enjoy each step of the planning and made sure I documented them so I can go back some day and see what the last 9 months was like.
