I feel like a year’s worth of travel all happened in one month.
Chris and I had a moment today where we reflected on all the things that has happened to us in the last month. We are so grateful for all the blessings that have come our way.
We both love to travel and because we were planning and budgeting for the wedding for most of 2010, we didn’t get to travel as much as we would have wanted. This past month that we have traveled in Mexico (wedding) and Philippines (honeymoon) have definitely made up for it.
Now thinking more about it…..we did travel together in 2010 and went for a quick weekend getaways to San Francisco during Valentine’s Day weekend and a trip to Mammoth during Labor Day weekend with our friends. But those were quick trips and not really long vacations.
I guess what I’m getting to is that, even though it has been a whirlwind of month, summer has just begun and we have the rest of the summer to look forward to.
My friend sent me the picture below, it’s from my bachelorette party (I finally have the pictures!) and it made me look forward to sunny days at the beach and spending time with my friends.
This summer I look forward to eating a lot of frozen yogurt and trying all the new flavors that are popping up. Chocolate mint cookies, Guava Pineapple Tart and Key Lime Bar.
….and my all time favorite, Toasted Coconut (surprising right?)
A cup full of fruit + yogurt as the topping is more of my style.
This summer I’m looking forward to pool time with my niece Jazzy. She’s a water baby. I had a hard time getting her out of the pool during our vacation in Mexico.
I’m looking forward to camping.
I’m looking forward to barbecues.
I’m looking forward to summer nights at Disneyland…with my husband.
and riding the new Little Mermaid ride at California Adventures.
Your niece is ADORABLE! I am most looking forward to going to Cozumel next week! 🙂
How fun Lisa 🙂 Are you staying at an all inclusive resort? We did in Puerto Vallarta last month and we had a blast.
So glad you’re back!
Hmm I’m looking forward to seein’ my belly grow! Meep!
Me too. I’m looking forward to seeing your fashionable baby bump grow.

Awe! Jazzy is such a cutie! 😀 This summer, I am excited for the SUN!!!
i want a FULL REPORT on that ride!
Will do a report soon, with pictures. But in summary, the ride was fun, a bit short for me. It’s similar to Haunted House ride where you move slowly and move thru different rooms.
I want to go again so I can pay more attention this time. I’ve only gone on the ride once.
These pictures are adorable, I have yet to try coconut froyo 😀
Aw! Jazzy is so cute! 🙂 I saw they are making a Little Mermaid ride in Disney World too! Definitely let me know how it is! 🙂
I’m looking forward to taking our engagement pictures and hopefully having the majority of our wedding planned 🙂
Oh yay, I started my wedding planning same time last year and it went by so fast. Cherish your planning time. Do you know where you are going to take your engagement pictures?
The ride was fun, a bit short for me. I want to go again so I can pay more attention this time. I’ve only gone on the ride once.
That is awesome! I will 🙂 Yeah, we are taking them in Princeton NJ, near Princeton University. It’s near where we met and we have a lot of dating memories there. I’m excited 🙂 We are actually not getting married in Disney anymore 😦 I wrote about it on my blog today.
I’m looking forward to staying home and doing nothing. Im a teacher &dont get to do that often, so I don’t mind it:)
So glad you are back! Well I’m looking for spending time with my husband and kids @ the beach, we have a camping trip at Lake Havasu at the end of July and ????
Oh I forgot My STB Husband has a Harley so we will definitely be riding around Southern California!
I love the summer as it is my favorite Season of the Year.
