Part I of our New Year’s Eve celebration was our lobster feast meal with our friends.
The second part of our celebration was at my parents house.
As tradition goes, we welcomed the new year surrounded by our family and friends.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve spent New Year’s Eve with my family. Well, except for that time I was vacationing in the tropics .
We celebrated by the fire.
We celebrated with wine. (drinking wine with my dad’s Hennessy glass. Very classy!)
We celebrated with hugs.
We welcomed the new year as newlyweds and as husband and wife.
We celebrated with a plenty of food. Noodles for long life and round food for fortune 🙂
My family requested I make the Petite Lasagna and Cheddar Garlic biscuits. A healthy start to the new year.
And it wouldn’t be a party without dancing. We danced to the tune of Wii games and Dance Party games.
We kept ourselves entertained until the ball dropped at midnight.
At midnight, there were some coins thrown on the floor, some fireworks popped and a ton of hugs and kisses given to each other.
Welcome 2012!
