Valentine’s Week Recap

Some of the treats found at Disney for the month of February are bright pink cupcakes…

So many choices, so little time.

But we had to make a decision, so Chris and I decided to enjoy a sundae to satisfy our sweet tooth 🙂

I got a special delivery from the husband on Valentine’s Day. The flowers were beautiful and the bright colors reminded me of our wedding colors.

On Tuesday night, Chris cooked lobster for our dinner. Something red for Valentine’s Day. We wanted a relaxing night at home since it was a work night, and we wanted to avoid the crowded restaurants.

While the lobsters were cooking, I prepped all the vegetables for our brown rice jambalaya.

Once our dinner prep was done, we enjoyed our delicious plate of Lobster Jambalaya.  Lobster dinner for little cost. We definitely did not miss going out to dinner 🙂

While we chatted away during dinner, a special treat was in the oven baking away.

When we were on vacation during our Mexican Riviera cruise, we ate chocolate cake every night.  It is very decadent, and we definitely splurged on desserts while we were on the cruise.

Well, we got a hold of the recipe that Carnival Cruise Line used to make their Molten Lava cake and I made it at home.

It tasted exactly like the one we ate on the cruise, it brought back so many happy vacation memories.
