Brunch with the Ladies

I recently attended my friend Lora’s surprise Bridal Shower at the beautiful Karl Strauss Brewery Restaurant in San Diego.

Aren’t purple and silver great colors for fall? These are the wedding colors and they fit perfectly for the fall season.

But during the Bridal Shower, we were still having summer weather and was surrounded by the summer heat.

No fall weather here.

We celebrated on the patio so we had a great view.

Of all the years I’ve lived in San Diego, I didn’t even know this place existed. It’s hidden and surrounded by office building, and  little hard to find, but once you find it, it’s like you are transported to a different place.

Hot weather means sun dresses for everyone. We did a great job surprising the bride-to-be.

The brunch was buffet style and there was a wide variety of food to choose from. There were your typical brunch items + Omelet stations + pasta stations + lots of seafood and all you can drink mimosas.

I ate fresh fruits, waffles, salmon and egg rancheros.

Dessert plate included carrot cake, more fresh pineapples and oatmeal bar.

We played games afterwards.

This was our group’s Bohemian-Destination-Wedding toilet paper dress, modeled by Cher. As you can see, it was falling apart and barely covered the body parts of our model. Clearly, we lost 😦

Celebrating love and friendship.
