Happy New Year!
We had a great holiday season, it went by soooo fast, and I can’t believe it’s 2013 already.
I know that it has been quiet around here for a few weeks. I decided it would be better to step away from the blog for a few weeks and enjoy my family and friends during the holidays.
We picked up and decorated our Christmas tree late because we were out of town right after Thanksgiving. We normally have our holiday decorations up right after Thanksgiving, that way I can enjoy them for as long as I can.
Here’s a picture of me with the baby bump dressed for my work’s holiday party.
I love being surrounded by Christmas lights, it just makes the house feel like it is full of the holiday spirit. This is how I decorated our dining room. I love coming home from work and turning on all the lights around the house.
We spent our Sunday evenings at Disneyland. Disney sidewalk, busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style. I love the firework show and the snow that fills Main St. right after.
All the employees at my work received a Christmas gift and I had the pleasure of shopping for all of them. I pretended I was Santa 🙂
I love DIY projects and I wish I had more time to be more creative, that’s one of my resolution this year is to make time to be more creative because it simply just makes me happy. I created a wreath made of holiday cards we received. It’s made of clothes pin and the idea is from Martha Stewart. I loved it.
I gave up coffee during my pregnancy and I even stayed away from decaf coffee. But I couldn’t resist enjoying a Starbucks holiday drink. Decaf and skinny mocha latte. It was as tasty as I remembered it. Oh coffee…I miss you so much.
We hosted our annual Christmas party. As always, we filled our tiny home with as much friends as we could and we had a great time.
I did my share of holiday baking. This is the sweetest season of the year after all. I made new recipes that I loved that I will be adding in my yearly baking list.
Santa gave me what I wished for this year. I found my Kindle Fire under the tree. Thanks Santa!!!
2012 has brought so many blessings. I look forward to creating more precious memories in 2013.
