I started doing scrapbooking again and I am using Project Life books to document our every day life. I feel creative when I do it. I’m happy when I’m doing it. I’m happy knowing I’m helping preserve my family’s memories and especially love doing the baby book. I like documenting our every day life and what life is like right.this.moment.
I’m keeping it simple. I print the pictures and I insert them in the page protectors and use journaling cards to write down all my notes.
I’m not looking for perfection, I’m looking for DONE
Our little man is growing up too fast. I want to document the little moments, the moments in between the big events, the moments that will be hard to remember years from now. Simple, day to day life like our lazy weekend mornings, our bonding time every morning before he heads out to daycare and of course, milestones and celebrations on the weekends.
The reason I went back to scrapbooking was because I wanted a baby book for Hawke. Lets face it, the majority of the pictures that I take is of the baby. So a lot of the layout I make revolves around Hawke, our family and our activities.
But I am enjoying this process so much that I also added additional pages to include friends and family, the layout below was during a girls hike in L.A.
So fun! I made Kay 2 books using shutterfly….and I really need to catch up! We’ve taken so many more pictures since the last book I made. Thanks for the reminder
I’m thinking of giving out mini books to grandparents for the holidays, maybe thru Shutterfly or Costco. Is Shutterfly good quality?
OMG, Lea, he is so adorable!!!
Thank you Mr. Barrett. I hope you are doing well.
OMGosh! He’s getting so big! What a cutie patootie he is. And what a great idea to capture the memories. Love how neat and organized everything is. 🙂
Thank you, he’s is growing fast. Too fast 😦
Yes, that’s why I love Project Life. It doesn’t take a lot of time to do it and it still comes out cute and neat.
