Santa came early and Hawke opened his first present ever. At eight months old, he is old enough to grab and rip the wrapper and try to eat it.
But he is too young to really know what a present really is, so my sweet little guy took his time grabbing each small piece of paper and putting it in his mouth each time. We are in the “everything in the mouth” stage right now.
He was taking his sweet time, so another baby came over and helped him. “Ohhh, paper!”
After he opened the gift, he played with the box for awhile before he was eventually interested with the toy.
