I really want to be consistent with writing on the blog, my way of documenting our summer. Before I would get myself overwhelmed with trying to post all the stuff we were doing because I didn’t have the time to sit down and draft a long post, I still don’t have the time most days, so I am planning on keeping these post shorter but hopefully more often.
Welcome summer!
The hubby spent a whole day scrubbing the pool, so it’s nice and clean for the season. We are excited for this summer season, and all the social gatherings we will have, the pool and BBQ gatherings, picnics at the park and just being more in a relaxed state of mind.
We had my sister and my niece Jazzy over, and I picked up my mom and two brothers so they can come over and swim. My other sister and nephew came by afterwards.
We played with bubbles and relaxed in the water.
Food:
-Chris grilled some fresh fish that he had caught a few days ago, as well as fresh sashimi.
-Cinnamon coffee cake – baked from a box from Trader Joe’s
– Fresh fruits (always!)
– Costco Pizza for the kiddos.
I’m searching pinterest and blogs for easy summer dishes that I can whip up if we invite guest last minute, so we can have a variety of food readily available with such short notice.
What a beautiful pool! Mmm fresh fruit!! Looks like a great time!
Looks like a lovely start to summer!!! Jealous of that pool 🙂
