I loved October. It felt balanced and all around good vibes.
Fall décor at the house. Loving the white small pumpkins.
We did the Breast Cancer Walk, my brothers and sisters joined me and the weather was great. I’m thinking of framing that palm tree picture I took below. I wore pink shoes, pink jacket and pink capris.
I intentionally put on my calendar that I was due for some self care, so I got my nails did. My reminder each day to take care of myself first, so I can take better care of my family.
I had lunch with my friend Amy and got some sort of sign from the universe to make time for friends. I saw this on the coaster “Strive mightily, but eat and drink as friends”.” Got it.
We took a road tip up north to a beautiful town of Monterey, with a quick stop in Solvang. It just feels so special to be out there, the water, the pretty views, the cold air and of course, visiting the sea creatures.
Halloween was fun. Lots of festive treats and my co-workers got all dressed up too.
Started reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. I’m half way done now and I’m loving it. What a twisted story but her style of writing is very engaging. I’m back and forth on who to believe in the narrative.
I switched out the pillows to fall colors, what a difference it makes just to change up the colors.
Our little man enjoyed his pumpkins this year and was carrying the small one all over the house. The carved pumpkin went bad a few days after Halloween, but I’m hoping the small, whole one will last until Thanksgiving.
Nude and fuchsia nails, getting ready for family pictures.
Just perfect! Love your note about self care- so important!!
