10 books on my reading list for summer 2015

books for sale

(this picture has nothing to do with my list, except I wanted to take a picture of the current popular books while at Costco)

Currently I am in the season of life where I am loving reading more than anything else. I want to read  more than I want to watch TV and I look forward to the half hour before bed because I’m excited to get back to continue my current book.

We are going on our first family vacation this month and I look forward to our adventures but I’m also excited to relax and read. I hope to find a balance with both.

These are the books I’m looking forward to reading this summer.

Hands Free Mama: A Guide to Putting Down the Phone, Burning the To-Do List, and Letting Go of Perfection to Grasp What Really Matters!  – I’ve had this in my Kindle for awhile and summer seems like a perfect time to be “hands free”

Eleanor & Park – this is a popular young adult book and I’ve read and liked 2 others books from this author

The Husband’s Secret – I’ve read quite a few Moriarty books and heard this was a good one too. I love her style of writing.

I Know How She Does It: How Successful Women Make the Most of Their Time – this book just came out this week. I’ve read her other books and I learned more about managing time and her books has changed the way I spend my weekends.  I’m looking forward to this new release and hoping to learn more along the way.

The Secret Life of Book Club – I’m in a book club with other moms, this should be a fun read and hoping this will relate to my life.

Station Eleven – this book has been recommended to me a few times. It’s not a genre that I usually read, but I’m curious because everyone seems to love it. I hope I will too.

Paris Letters – I’ve never been to Europe, but I’ve read many books that are set there. I like reading books about travel because I love to wanderlust.  (read 6/20/15)

The Geography of You and Me – another young adult book recommended to me. I like the cover and it looks romantic. Check and check. Plus, I heard this will inspire to wanderlust.  (read 6/30/15)

The Blue Bistro – my beachy novel and breezy read for summer. My first book from this author but she comes highly recommended.

The Rosie Effect: A Novel (Don Tillman Book 2)I loved the first book and this is the follow up. I  loved the characters and excited to continue reading their adventures.
