completing the 12 week workout program from Sweat With Kayla app. It’s hard BUT it works and I learned that consistency is the key in order to see results. I’m starting over again with Week 1 and doing another round. This time, I feel stronger and can complete most moves without any modification. I do all my workouts at home early in the morning.
loving the peonies I picked up at Trader Joe’s. They make me happy just seeing them around the house
feeling proud of my youngest sister, she graduated from Cal State University – Long Beach and got her first big girl job offer
using my treadmill for long fast walks about 3-4 times a week. I walk on a small incline, about 3.9-4.0 mph while watching Netflix or Youtube videos. When I’m done, my little guy wants to use it too so I put it on the lowest setting and have him go on for about a minute.
finishing these books: Happiness for Beginners (3.5 stars), Love May Fail (4 stars), Reshaping It All: Motivation for Physical and Spiritual Fitness (3 stars)
getting excited for this movie to come out this week. I loved the book.
making family dinners happen a few times a week, where we actually sit down in our dining table instead of the kitchen table. My little guy likes to blow out the candle after our meals
I’ve heard good things about the Kayla itsines workouts! I have a few friends that have done the program and they love it so much, they’ve hosted some group workouts in that style! They’re so hard but definitely effective!
Yes, it’s still tough for me but what keeps me going is that I”m not bored and each week is different exercise. I was starting to get bored with workout DVDs, I was using 21 Day Fix DVDs prior to this.
The first round, I was taking longer breaks and modifying the moves. But for Round 2, my goals are to finish the circuits each time.
