CURRENTLY  2-16-17

making a batch of protein pancakes to eat throughout the week. I like eating it with fresh strawberries and agave syrup.

enjoying a few sunny days by staying outdoors. We visit different parks and hangout by the duck pond

filling our bag with library books during our visits. H chooses his own books while I grab the books I’ve put on hold. I’m on a reading streak lately.

eating donuts on the weekend. I get donuts from work on Fridays and I take some home to enjoy on the weekends

cooking this week:  golden cauliflower soup and kahlua pulled pork in the slow cooker

reading One in Million Boy by Monica Wood

dining out at a Sushi place on Friday night then visited the pet store (just to browse) afterwards. We hardly go out to restaurants because we prefer cooking at home, but it’s good to eat out once in awhile

  2. I tried One in a Million Boy and I couldn’t get past the first few chapters. The nature of the loss (won’t go into details for those who haven’t read) is a HUGE trigger for me so I had to walk away and try something else. I have heard great things about it though!
