going in and out of the hospital, to visit my mom. She is currently in ICU.

feeling mostly sad this week, in between pockets of joy

drinking strong coffee at Urth Café, having breakfast with all my siblings

visiting Santa last weekend, wearing our festive reindeer headband

watching H sitting on Santa’s lap for awhile and having full conversations with him about what he wanted for Christmas. He said “toys for my friends” (insert BIG HEART emoji here)

getting a large and tall tree, a special request from me. I will be decorating it all week, with help from my little helper

watching H at his school holiday show and beaming with pride. His class went first, they were the youngest ones performing. Everyone was so adorable in their red outfits and custom hat.

celebrating the holiday with friends at our Friendsmas party, wearing our ugly sweaters. It felt good to laugh among friends, very therapeutic.

making a care package, and mailing it out this week to surprise a close friend who moved out of state

receiving the files for our family pictures that we took Thanksgiving weekend. I love them all. So great to have this time in our life captured in pictures.

mailing out our holiday cards this week, including special treats for family members who live far away.
