Hello 2021! Dusting off this good ole’ blog and hoping to document consistently on here again. A lot of life changes coming up in 2021 (…and what a year 2020 was!!!) and even though my preferred way to document life right now is thru Instagram, I want to write more on here too.

I want to write mostly weekly summary of what we’ve been up to, mostly in pictures and some words. I loved looking back at these types of posts (so glad I have some in my archive).

So here we go…..

CURRENTLY

baking my first sourdough bread for the year. I hopped on the sourdough hobby when quarantine started in March 2020 and baked my first loaf in April. I baked sourdough cinnamon rolls, used the recipe found at The Clever Carrot site.

making our favorite blueberry cream cheese pie for NYE. It’s the boys favorite

ringing in the New Year with H (who is now 7 years old!!). He wanted to stay up until midnight but fell asleep in the living room by 9pm. It was a quite NYE celebration, just us 3 at home. Usually we are at my parents house with a big party and surrounded by lots of family.

reading You Are Not Alone (Rating it 3.75/5). Psychological thriller. Book No.1

starting a new puzzle while drinking Four Sigmatic mushroom cocoa

making it a goal to spend more time outdoors in 2021 – 300 days to be exact. The boys were looking for geocache and I tagged along for a hike along the river.

meal planning – dinners this week included Eggplant Parmesan, steak and roasted broccoli, salmon burger and homemade fries, quesadilla & plantain chips with all the toppings, pizza & salad

receiving school pictures that were taken right before school winter break. our school district is doing hybrid version, there the class is split with morning/afternoon sessions.

Anyone still reading blogs these days? I used to read a lot but now only read a handful, mostly for recipes, travels and book reviews.

  1. OMG, your son is so big now. I remember when he was born…. Is the Four Sigmatic mushroom cocoa tasty? I’ve been thinking of trying it.

    • The mushroom cocoa taste mild to me and not too rich. However my son can taste the mushrooms in it and doesn’t like it. I used almond milk to make it richer (instead of just water), I add collagen for protein and stevia for sweetener
