Let’s Cha Cha

I didn’t have a good day yesterday. It started out really well, I woke up when it was cold and dark at 6am. I was productive and studied.

Then as the hours progress, my mood just went south and I was cranky. It was a mix of a lot of things. The material I was studying was really challenging for me and I was just not getting it. So I chugged along determined to get it, didn’t want to stop for  breakfast and opted for a snack bar and fruit instead. I missed my planned workout. It was just a domino effect the whole day and some days when I feel really frustrated, I keep it all in when I should just talk about it and let it out.

After talking to the fiance and complained my heart out, I felt better and I’m back to normal today.  It’s just one of those days you know? Majority of the time, I’m hyper, energetic, talkative, upbeat and just easy peezy. At the end of the day, I have so many things to be grateful for 🙂

It’s a new day and another delicious breakfast. In today’s mix was

  • 1/3 C oatbran
  • 1/2 C water & 1/2 C almond milk
  • 1/3 C pumpkin puree
  • blueberries & granola

I have been enjoying some great tasting teas from Cha Cha tea. Maleah from Cha Cha tea sent me some samples.

They have over 50 teas on their menu. I perused their website and ideally I would love to try them all. Cha Cha tea wants “tea to be a fun, affordable and tasteful daily ritual; with an aim to promote a healthy lifestyle by bringing high quality, organic and fair trade loose teas into your home and office”

With the samples, she included a handwritten note and suggested I “experiment and enjoy”. Thanks Maleah and Cha Cha tea 🙂

Tea of the day for me was Coconut Oolong. I really love this flavor.  The coconut fragrant is intoxicating. It’s great way to start my day because it makes me happy 🙂 The coconut flavor is not too strong. I would rate it light/medium strength in coconut flavor.

This would be a good ingredient to include in baking, such as Coffee & Chai muffins.

Good quality tea.

I enjoyed a big cup of tea today with vanilla almond milk.

Do you drink flavored tea? What are your favorite flavors? I like all sorts of teas. Whenever friends are traveling, I usually ask if they can bring me back some teas. One of the best teas I’ve tasted was a present from India. It had very strong aroma and bold taste.

  1. sometimes you just have those funky days… glad today is a better day ❤

    I *LOVE* green teas.

  2. We DEFINITELY all have days like that. Glad today has been better! Beautiful breakfast. The blue and orange look so pretty together. I wish I liked tea!

  3. Those days are the worst. At least its over, right? 🙂

I love peppermint tea — I drink a mug of that almost every night.

*Thanks again for that great recipe yesterday, Jason and I loved it!

  4. I just like clear, clean, crisp flavors. I’m not much of a fruity tea fan. I prefer green tea, or oolong tea.

I’ve been in a funk since early this week too…I’m glad you’re feeling better though! (hugs)

  5. Annette (Defiant Vegan) says:

I’ve tried several flavored tea like Chocolate Tea and the other basic ones like Jasmine, Jasmine Green Tea, Raspberry tea and Vanilla Hazelnut.

I don’t care for the Chocolate, Raspberry or Vanilla Hazelnut, the chocolate was to watered I should have used Almond Milk like you did maybe that would give it a different taste, Great Idea HC.

Now for the others blah they just use other herbs as a base and I something in them I don’t like.

I prefer just Jasmine, Green Tea for now.

    😛
