Wordless Wednesday…(sort of)
One of the most amazing experience I had in Hawaii was the night we swam with giant Manta Rays.
If you ever get a chance to swim with Manta Rays, I highly recommend it.

I am San Francisco bound this morning on my way to the Foodbuzz Blogger Festival. I’m at the airport waiting for my flight to San Francisco. My flight is delayed so might as well take advantage of the free internet 🙂 It’s another beautiful day in SoCal, sad to leave the sunshine but I’m prepared […]
It’s rainy and gloomy today but it’s a good today because it’s Friday 🙂 I love Fridays and the feeling of being excited for the weekend. It’s going to be a fun weekend, hope the weather will be nice. If you live near the L.A. area and looking for something fun to do this weekend […]
Being a newlywed, the most common questions you hear are? How was the wedding? How was the honeymoon? How’s married life treating you? When are you going to have a baby? I’ve had my share of conversations with friends and family with all the questions above. Sometimes I give short answers, sometimes lengthy answers, it […]
We had a fun time this Easter weekend with the family. Sunday was my sister’s actual birthday so we headed over to her house for some BBQ celebration. My sister is going on a week vacation with my mom, so we kept the food simple and tried to use up every food they had left […]
After Christmas, I purposely did not make any plans so I can have some downtime. A much needed downtime. I’ve spent a few days like no other days during the year. Just relaxing. Relaxing like staying in my pajamas all day, eating my meals in my pajamas all day and watching movies in my pajamas all day. […]
I love to take pictures and for years, all those pictures just stayed in my computer hard drive. How sad is that? Now, I find ways to be creative in displaying pictures all over the house, besides, you know, the typical picture frame. I’m starting to collect photo magnets using my instagram pictures. I order […]
We had beautiful weather this weekend and we made sure to come out and play with the sun. Last week we went hiking and got wet in the morning rain, but this weekend, it felt like Spring season is on its way. The path along the hiking trails were filled with blooming flowers. What a […]
Another fun weekend spent on the hiking trails. Today, we had a bigger group that joined us on our hike. It was a lot of fun. Working those leg muscles to get on top of the hills. Thanks to my friend Irene and Amy for the pictures. I love doing fitness activities with a group […]
I love the pics! I’m glad you had a great time!!
I remember when I swam with dolphins and it was a beautiful experience as well!
I’ve yet to swim with dolphins. I had a chance to do it when we were in Bahamas but it was too pricey at the resort.
Swimming with Manta Rays was surprisingly less expensive and it included food/snacks on the boat.
Looks fun (and terrifying)! 🙂
Terrifying at first because there were so huge but not once did we touch them. The staff of the boat told us that it was a great night because about 15+ Manta Rays were in the area.
Usually it’s a hit or miss, they don’t guarantee that you see Manta Rays every night.
Looks like you had a great time!
But there’s no way you could get me to do that… lol
I was scared in the beginning (as you can see on my face in the pictures) but enjoyed myself once I was in the water and realized the Manta Rays were harmless.
Your posts and pics are always fun and I like the variety of your topics.
Thank you. It was fun.
I write on my blog about the things I love to do, including my travel adventures. I like to share pictures because I love photography and I like seeing them also on other blogs. It inspires me to go out and travel.
You’re in Italy…a place I dream of visiting someday.
Those pictures are amazing! I am terrified of sea creatures on their own, much less swimming with them.
Holly..it wasn’t scary at all. Well I was nervous in the beginning but warmed up to them right after we jumped in the water.
This was totally out of my comfort zone. I’m so proud I did it or I would have missed out on the experience.
Oh god, that’s terrifying! Aren’t those things dangerous?
My fiance was with me and he does all sorts of dives. I felt safe being with him and there a lot of people around and scuba divers underneath us too.
We had to swim in a way where our fins didn’t touch them, had to swim horizontal the whole night. Lots of core work I tell ya!
Thanks for stopping by my blog, I look forward to reading yours too!
The photos on this post are great, especially the one of the boats in the sunset. I love anything nautical 🙂
great photos! how fun… I grew up spending summers in Hawaii (my father is from there) and I went snorkeling one year, but didn’t think to take photos!! (oh, to have a blog long ago…!) 🙂
I love Hawaii so much, and miss it – it’s been a few years since I’ve been back… thanks for giving me a glimpse!
I’m more than happy to share Hawaii pictures. I love Hawaii, the beaches, the culture and everything about it.
I think its always fun seeing vacation pics! I’ve been to so many places around the world but not many in the states and Hawaii included and I want to go so bad! We should totally try to do a blogger meetup there!
What? Hawaii blogger meet-up? I’m in. I would volunteer to organize the trip if people are interested 🙂
We need to take advantage of our hotel discounts Eden.
When I was in 7th grade we went on a cruise to the Cayman Islands and went on an excursion to swim with the manta rays. I got too freaked out and wouldn’t go in. I wish I had now. It seems so cool!
